  2. Hey Allison,
This is a great resource list. I adore eHow, though I havent been to the site in a while. I like that for this particular subject of early childhood developement, it lists resources for all kinds of good information related to it. I became engulfed in the one about how music is beneficial to the development of young children, yet one of the most unrecognized. Thanks for your post! ~Vanessa

  3. Allison,
I really enjoyed perusing your suggested web sites. While following web links at the Ed.gov archived ECE information I really enjoyed spending a little time reading about the NEILS research project at http://www.sri.com/neils/. Of particular interest for me were the outcomes of early intervention services for children in kindergarten. I was so happy to see that 14% of the 3,338 sample population did not need special education services once they entered kindergarten. It is research projects like this that proves to our policy makers early intervention has a profitable return on the investment.
Thank you for sharing your resources!
    Take care,
    Patty
